Washington State Plumbers Licenses have changed from the previous 2 year licensing period to a 3 year license. With the additional year for renewal the states has added 8 hours of continued education to the previous 16 hour requirement. The required CEC’s will be a minimum of 4 hours Industry Related Electrical (IRE), 12 hours Plumbing Code, and the remaining 8 hours may be either IRE, Code, or Industry Related Plumbing. Anyone renewing their Plumbing license after June 30th 2021 will be required to have taken the full 24 hours of CEC requirements.
